We ask for no more than we need and keep it no longer than we need. Below is exactly what this website does with your data.

Who we are

MARSS B.V. (Chamber of Commerce 97274240) is responsible for processing personal data through marss.amsterdam. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@marss.amsterdam.

What we process and why

• Chat with our assistant: what you type or choose, the page you are on and your language. If you leave your name, phone number or email address, we keep it to get in touch with you.
• Callback request or intro call: your name, phone number, email address and subject, so the right specialist can call or email you.
• Website scan: the web address you scan and the result. If you leave your details for the full report, we only use them to send you that report and get in touch.
• Security: your IP address, to stop abuse and bots.

The legal basis is your consent (when you leave details yourself) or our legitimate interest (a safe, working website).

How long we keep it

• Your full IP address: 30 days. After that only an untraceable code remains.
• Chats, requests and scans: 12 months. After that they are deleted automatically.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. To run the site we use these parties:

• Our hosting provider in the Netherlands, where the site and the data are stored.
• Anthropic or OpenAI, which write the chat replies and the website scan analysis. They receive the text of the chat or scan, not your IP address, and do not use it to train their models.
• Google PageSpeed and Serper, for the speed test and the search results in the website scan. They only receive the web address you scan.

Some of these parties are outside the European Union. The standard contractual clauses of the European Commission apply.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party advertising or analytics scripts. Everything runs on our own server.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent. Email us at hello@marss.amsterdam and we will handle it within four weeks. If you disagree with us, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
